Hi,

I dont know if I understood correctly what you mean but, for the old
LayerGroup, you can
enable the image/png8 format directly inside the 'Tile cache configuration
section' of the
LayerGroup (not from the 'Caching Default' section). In this way the
LayerGroup can be
cached also in png8 maintaining the old tiles of the other formats.
You have already tried to do this ?
