Thanks Andrea. I restarted the server and everything is fixed. Apparently
something happened to the JVM caused by network issues (probably the JVM was
interrupted at the middle of something).

Hi all,

I am having an issue with my geoserver. After login into the GUI and click
on the "Server Status", I get the error bellow.

The version of Geoserver is 2.1.4 with GeoTools 2.7.5 (rev 38793), running
on Apache Tomcat/6.0.24 (Ubuntu 64bit).

It was working perfectly for a long time and start giving this error from
today.

It seems something changed in the enviroment or in the system variables.

To work on a headless system (one without a GUI, without the X server)
GeoServer needs the following system variable to be set

among the Tomcat system variables:

-Djava.awt.headless=true

Cheers

Andrea
