Hey. I'm trying to use LDAP for authentication and I'm going through this tutorial http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/security/tutorials/ldap/index.html#ldap-server-setup <http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/security/tutorials/ldap/index.html#ldap-server-setup> I'm using that jar for the LDAP server. The connection is okey, I can also login with "bob" or "bill", the problem is when I'm trying to configure user roles. I do everything as described in the tutorial and I end up with "bill" still not having admin rights and the default "admin" user loses it's admin rights.
So was anyone able to go through the tutorial and make it work without problems or maybe if anyone knows what i could try to get it to work? I'm guessing the groups on LDAP server aren't properly maped as roles on the GeoServer ...
