Ciao Jorge,
this looks like a permission problem for the user that's running the java
process for GeoServer.
For GeoServer using a Samba resource properly mounted on Linux is
transparent, which means, GeoServer does not know anything about it;
this means the problem is somewhere elase (at least IMHO).
