Personally I just assume that StackExchange is for people who don't want to
go to the trouble of signing up to the mailing list. That's fine, I ask
Python questions there rather than on a Python list/forum for instance. But
I ask GeoServer questions here and QGIS ones on the qgis list.
StackExchange is good as a low barrier for entry, but most people who do
GeoServer stuff and have lots of questions will probably end up gravitating
here in the longer term I suspect.
