Hi, One thing to consider is also to get rid of ECW files by converting them to tiled, jpeg-compressed GeoTIFFs and to creating overviews. Process is pretty fast and quality loss is not huge and you can save money because then you do not need to acquire ECW license which is always required if ECW libraries are used on the server side.
