For sorting out another issue I had to change my log4jConfigFile. This resulted in the following warning. I only had the PRODUCTION_LOGGING.properties in "dataDir/logs", so the warning is definitely spot-on!
2014-04-03 11:35:35,401 WARN [geoserver.logging] - log4jConfigFile 'GEOTOOLS_DEVELOPER_LOGGING.properties' couldn't be found in the data dir, so GeoServer will install the various logging config file into the data dir, and then try to find it again. The various config files were indeed installed, but not to the data dir (which is configured on our geoserver instance using the GEOSERVER_DATA_DIR context parameter). The files are installed in "tomcatDir/logs". So what's the correct location to put these log4j config files? Experienced this behavior in both geoserver 2.4.0 and 2.5. ________________________________ Volg Aquafin op Facebook<https://www.facebook.com/AquafinNV> | Twitter<https://twitter.com/aquafinnv> | YouTube<http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCk_4P5BJ-MtEEDCkCsR_KqQ?feature=mhee> | LinkedIN<http://www.linkedin.com/company/aquafin/products> Disclaimer: zie www.aquafin.be<http://www.aquafin.be> P Denk aan het milieu.
