We have not had much feedback on deploying to JBoss, a couple of things to
look out for from the Tomcat instructions:
a) GeoServer is big, perhaps bigger then the management console is willing
to accept as an upload. In Tomcat you need to increase this limit - or drop
the war into the web apps folder directly
b) GeoServer requires permissions to access the disk, specifically the disk
where the "GeoServer Data Directory" is located

Other than that please check the issue tracker for JBoss issues others have
had, and consider reporting any issues you find (please note the JBoss
version and platform information in the "environment" section of the issue
tracker).
