Subject: Re: [Geoserver-users] PDF Printing NullPointerException
Hi Bettina,
I did some more checks, I think there is some sort of bug in the yaml parser.
Your Yaml seems to be correct, but it seems section completely empty (such as
!legends) are not correctly parsed.
I tried adding a configuration property after !legends (backgroundColor:
#FFFFFF) and the parser seems to work again.
Please try and let me know. In case you can try to open a issue on github (or I
can do it for you if you don't know how to do it).
Regards,
Mauro Bartolomeoli

Hi Mauro,
I don't think it is truncated, it's just a very basic config for now. From what
I can tell based on the plugin configuration documentation, it's valid though.
Let me know if you see any issues with it.
Thanks,
Bettina Lechner

Hi Bettina,
looking at your config.yaml, it appears truncated on pastebin.
I don't if this is the cause of your issue (you are using a wrong config.yaml)
or simply the pastebin is incomplete.
Can you please check and in case send us the complete file?
Thanks

Hi,
After upgrading my GeoServer instance from 2.4.1 to 2.5.1, I installed the
Mapfish printing plugin. I had it working fine (with the
print-lib-2.0-SNAPSHOT-20140410.jar) before upgrading. Now when I request the
info.json, I get a NullPointerException (see http://pastebin.com/gJWhADR1).
What can I try to fix this? I followed the installation steps at
https://github.com/geosolutions-it/mapfish-print/wiki. The contents of my
configuration file are at http://pastebin.com/iw4AJtnF
Thank you!
Bettina Lechner
