Hi, I am using Windows 7, Java 7 and the Geoserver directory is "C:\Program Files (x86)\GeoServer 2.5.1". However my data is in another directory as you have noticed in the log file.
I perform the installation of Geoserver as an administrator and I can't figure out why it doesn't let Geoserver to write the log file. On the other hand, log files are stored inside the "logs" folder of my data folder, which I have already sent you. I there a way to change the permissions and is there a way to check if java is working fine with Geoserver? Can't figure out the solution yet.
