Unfortunately same behaviour with 2.7-snaphot. I will test again and prepare
something for easy reproducing. I have been testing with the basic binary
installation on Windows with all default settings.

Hi all,
I noticed that the ImageMosaic is using a wrong TIFF reader
(com.sun.media.imageioimpl.plugins.tiff.TIFFImageReader), which could be the
cause of the issue.
I have already opened a JIRA for this:
https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-6627. I have fixed it on the master
branch, it needs to be backported. Could
you try to do the same test with GeoServer master?
