Hello
I have installed GeoServer 2.6.0 using the Windows Installer on a WIndows
Server 2008. I tried then to change the GeoServer port, because the 8080 port
is been used by Oracle XDB, but I did not succeed. I followed this post to
change the port from 8080 to 8090 in the jetty.xml file: <Set
name="port"><SystemProperty name="jetty.port" default="8090"/></Set>, and then
restarted the server and the GeoServer Windows service and then tried to access
the GS start page by typing http://geoserver:8090/geoserver/web/ and
http://localhost:8090/ but got the same error which is connection time out! I
found this post where the post author had the same problem and he/she fixed it
by changing Djetty.port in startup.bat to the correct port but in my case I
couldn't find the Djetty.port and instead there is this line call "C:\Program
Files (x86)\GeoServer 2.6.0\wrapper.exe" -t wrapper/wrapper.conf in the
startup.bat file!
Any ideas how to solve this problem?
Best regards,Ammar
