Hi,

I have very little experience of the workspaces but as far as I know you must
give the namespace URI but it does not be anything real. When I made my test
for you I used http://gsnsw.org<http://gsnsw.org/>

If it does not work you can use some of the existing ones. If you have just
installed Geoserver for the first time try to progress step by step. Try some
simple thing, make a success with that, be happy, take the next step and get
more happy. Take a break, continue. Read documentation.

Oracle is not the best candidate for making you smile but I wish you a good
luck. Don't jump directly into views or anything exotic. Be sure that you have
a row about your table in all_sdo_geom_metadata and spatial index created
before doing anything else or you won't be happy.

No, I didn't add, I think that it should be automatically there like cite,
nurc... but if I add new workspace, I should know namespace URI, but I don't
know it...

Hi,

Did you add the new "gsnsw" workspace through the "Workspaces" page and did is
appear the the list of workspaces after pressing the Submit button?

Hi,

I have some problems, maybe I did something wrong or miss something, I don't
know. I just install geoserver 2.5 and vector formats I choose oracle. I read
all instruction guides, but still I can't understand one thing. When I want to
connect to database, I do that things: go to stores/add new store/oracle NG. I
want to choose 'gsnsw' workspace, but I can't do that and I don't know why,
maybe I did something wrong?

Best regards,
Aliona
