Until that day we will use GetFeatureInfo with text/html responses.

Sorry, my description was deceiving. What we have on trunk works also for
GetFeatureInfo with plain text output.
I'm just not sure if anyone with commit access will push for a backport of
those changes next month, when
a backport becomes possible (large changes need to sit on the dev series for a
month)
