Hi Deepthi,
This is a very odd situation. Does it happen to other browsers? What client are
you using? Given GeoServer cannot access the cookies on a client machine,
whatever this issue is, it’s going to be at the client end; you’ll want to
investigate there.
Cheers,
Jonathan

Subject: [Geoserver-users] Does IE cookie effect layer Display?

Hi Users,

I have been using Geoserver version 2.4.0 on JAVA environment version 1.7.

In my real time environment I have 2 layers configured with my postgres
database. The layers were visible as expected.

After few months of deployment, At few specific zoom levels I am not able to
view these layers.

The problem is resolved by the user deleting their IE cookies. Can you please
advise why this might be happening and how to manage it. These layers are a
critical decision layer for the user, and their display (or not) should not be
dependent on the cookie state. Also cookie state should not affect the display
of any layers??
Please advice

Thanks and Regards,
Deepthi
