Hi,
yes, this looks like a bug, the SOLR store is not handling properly the
"default" geometry, which
is encoded as "" (the empty string).
Could you open a bug report here: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS
(instructions on how to enter it, if you don't have a login, are top left
in that page)
