Hello all, I figure that in order to solve the CORS problem that I am facing, I'll need to re-install GeoServer inside jetty. Therefore, since I'll need to remove it, I better install the new 2.8.0 version with the Platform Independent Binary.
I'll appreciate very much some advices about the best way of doing that. One of the questions that I have is about Java. For the 2.8.0 geoserver version can I install the latest Java? Or I still should use the JRE7? Please, provide me with any tips you might have for this procedure.
