When I'm editing a style and checking the result I simply press Alt+left on the style page to go back to the style. Returning directly after Submit could be quite annoying, especially on the layer page (I don't think Ive ever wanted to go straight back to the same layer after changing it). What would be nice though is any filter or pagination selection was remembered when you are returned the list, but never found it annoying enough to try fixing.
