Hi, I do not know Leaflet and if and how it supports WMS-C specification. Perhaps it does not and it would be better to use WMTS which is probably used through https://github.com/mylen/leaflet.TileLayer.WMTS. By reading http://leafletjs.com/ Leaflet does not seem to have mailing list or forum but they have outsourced the support to gis.stackexchange. I wish you good luck there.
