this looks like a potential bug.
It would be great if you caould isolate it in a reproducible manner either
using the sample data that comes with GeoServer or some data of your own that
could be shared.

transparency of the group members gets lost. All members are transparent. The
result of the getmap request with the layer group is opaque. I'm using

Hi all,
there are requests from 2011 and 2013 concerning this topic.
I'm using goeserver 2.8.1 with Java 1.8.0_65.
When serving a layer group containing 4 different ImageMosaic Store based
layers, the image quality is less then requesting them as single wms-layers.
Default caching is turned off.
In version 2.5.1 this effect is not existent. Can somebody help ?
