Interesting, I thought we were not checking attribute matches for complex
features (as I understand it, it's not always possible to have a full and
reliable view of the
potential attribute names due to inheritance/xs:any and the like), and yet
the code
does that regardless and has been doing so for years.... color me surprised:

The attribute check has been introduced many years ago as people kept on
losing a lot of time
with styles not working due to typos in attribute names, wondering if it's
possible to make any
similar check against complex features?
