Quick question, has there been any demand or scoping out of the possibility of
supporting template driver output?
The specific reason I ask, is to be able to provide KML output structured in a
specific way, and other flexible output formats
(Currently Geoserver supports KML, but it doesn't seem to give much for options
to modify the structure of the KML Elements).
I have used UMN Mapserver in the past, and they developed something called
Template-Driven Output.

Is this in the cards for Geoserver at all?
We would be interested in working with a developers community to perhaps
develop an extension like the one describe by Mapserver's website?
