Hi All,
I’m currently using Geoserver 2.10.1. I’d like to label my contour lines
cleanly with a text showing the depth of the contour, following the line. I’d
like to get this label to be inline with padding around it so that the line
doesn’t cross the lable. One way to do this is to use halo around the text, but
that doesn’t create the cartography that I am looking for (spacing around label
text). So far I made the halo similar to the basemap color, but when more
layers are inserted, this poses a problem of an obvious halo. If anyone have
any ideas on how I can fix this problem, it would be much appreciated. Please
let me know if you have any further questions, I know that the way I explain
things can be confusing sometimes. Thank you!
