Hello,

for my job I have installed a Geoserver (2.9) and a standalone Geowebcache
(1.9) in order to generate TMS of data of the geoserver.
We have to reseed some TMS often, every day or every week, because a lot of
updates can be realized on the database. The tile expiration with the
expiration rule
(http://geowebcache.org/docs/current/configuration/layers/expiretiles.html)
is simple to use, but all tiles can be reseeded, we want to reseed tiles
that have to be updated.

We have tested the expiring tiles with Georss, but how to use this
fonctionnality?
We have configured the file geowebcache.xml like this tutorial
(http://geowebcache.org/docs/current/configuration/layers/georss.html) but
it doesn't work.
We have not understood the variable GEORSS_FEED_URL. What is the variable
lastupdate=${lastUpdate}? Is this only a field in the georss? But it seems
that there is no updated field in the georss generated with geoserver. Or is
this a filed in the table of the data ?
How work geowebcache with georss to recognize what tiles can be reseeded
with the variable lastupdate ?

Thank you for your help.
