hi guy, i'm new in GeoServer but i want to ask you: how to take coordinates from a sql server database where i have a column called lat and a column called lon where the reference system is google maps? To be more specific: i have a sql server database and i have a table, called tbl_places in witch i have a lot of records as <43.89898;11.989898> , <22.89898;12.909> I want geoserver recognize my google maps coordinates and show me in a openlayer maps.
I've already installed geoserver and the connection to sql server is ok, but i don't know how to tell geoserver that my column lat and lon( double type) are my coordinates. Anybody can help me?
