Hi,
I know the plugin is a community one and therefore perhaps there may be
conflicts but I'm trying to work out what version of GDAL actually works. As
far as I can tell the main GeoServer GDAL tools still use gdal version 1.9.2
but the GeoSolutions package doesn't include gdal_translate and if you install
it, the list doesn't include the PDF option.
If you install a later version such as 1.11.x you get the GDAL_PDF option under
WCS but it doesn't work and the main GDAL plugin stops working.
I've seen old posts suggesting that 1.9.2 is the latest version GeoServer
currently supports but then I assume the WCS plugin relies on a later version.
What version should I actually be installing and is it a case of one or the
other in terms of plugins?
In an ideal world it would be great if Geospatial PDF's were a possible output
type for the WMS but WCS would be great as well. Am I actually supposed to
install two versions then use the gdal configuration file to point the WCS
plugin at the newer one?
