Hi Ricardo,
GeoServer has a rich, powerful, and (most importantly for you)
extensible security system. For starters, I'd suggest reading through
the documentation and trying out some of the tutorials here
(http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/security/index.html#security).
I imagine that some part of a complete solution may depend on your
choice of web container (Jetty, JBoss/Wildfly, Tomcat). I'd try and
identify any security configurations you might need there to require
certs, etc.
Depending on how Gluu works, there may be a step at the user/role lookup
step where some custom GeoServer modules will need to be created. If
you are doing the work yourself, identifying a similar component to crib
off of may help speed up your work! Otherwise, the GeoServer website
has a list of vendors who might be interested in creating a module
(http://geoserver.org/support/).
