Hi,
I have a GeoServer connected to a PostgreSQL server via its Datastore.
Until recently, that connection worked okay, but SSL has been configured
and since then the datastore can't connect (the error informs that the
connection is being established with SSL off). I've been looking for
information about this issue and most of the sources recommend to create a
JNDI resource and change the datastore type to "Postgis JNDI". The thing
with this is that the password is not stored as a crypt1 string by default
(is no longer done by GeoServer) and if I want to store it like that I
should implement some code to handle the encryption and decryption of the
password string in the xml file.
Is there no other way to handle SSL with a Postgis datastore?
Regards,
Vtez
