I'm using the NetCDF extension to publish some forecast netcdfs via
GeoServer, which is working well. But, when publishing NetCDF coverages
using gt-netcdf, there appears to be a H2 database created to maintain an
index in a hidden directory. It looks like these H2 databases bind to
network interfaces at some point. This is an issue for me, as my
operational environment will not allow this unless such connections can be
extensively secured. Is there any way at all to restrict H2 to embedded
mode only when used by the NetCDF plugin? I've also seen reference to some
sort of xml based "indexer" file, could this be a suitable alternative to
H2 if there is no way to prevent H2 binding to network interfaces?
