A couple of related questions: * Does "consider BigTiff for large files (> 4 GB)" imply Geotiff for < 4GB? * Is GDAL the best tool to use for preparing large GeoTiff files for publication in Geoserver? Are there alternatives? * Ideally we only push only the GeoTiff files with an SLD to Geoserver and do nothing more. Is there a way to automate as much as possible the publication of large GeoTiff files? What is the best practice to publish GeoTiff files up to 10GB? and to up to 20GB?
