The following is a valid GET request to get all records (via pagination)
from a CSW:
http://www.example.com/my_csw?version=2.0.2&request=GetRecords&service=CSW&startposition=1&maxrecords=10&resulttype=results&typenames=csw%3ARecord&elementsetname=full&constraintlanguage=CQL_TEXT
It works with PyCSW and GeoNetwork CSW deployments. Doesn't work with
ESRI GeoPortal - the constrainlanguage needs changing. I don't know if
it works with the GeoServer CSW as I've not seen any of these in the
wild; I'd be interested to find out if someone can point me to one.
