ImageMosaic layer is behaving unexpectedly on the new version of Geoserver.

When this style is applied to a 3 band ImageMosaic, it shows up as completely
black. I've tried changing the Input Transparency Color and Output Transparency
Color in the Coverage Parameters options, which worked to fix other layers, but

which suggests that this should work. It works on Geoserver 2.9.3. Have any
changes been made since then which could affect how GrayChannel styling is
applied?
