Hi George,

It seems like the EnterpriseDB postgresql distribution is running a web server 
with the same default port as Apache Tomcat(8080), so you need to stop it and 
maybe disable it too, then restart Tomcat-Geoserver instance.

Subject: [Geoserver-users] geoserver error


Hi all, I currently have Geoserver installed into my PC(windows 9) and every 
time I try to access the admin login page it defaults me to the “server is up 
and running “ with the Enterprise DB icon in the right-hand corner. I do not 
see the green login page as a result.   Any advice? Thanks george  George
