Not so far, perhaps something to look into. It's gotten more robust and usable but there is still room for improvement, definitely. One module, sure as long as people can still configure to have one without the other I guess.

I personally like the module and would love to see those two (jdbcconfig/jdbcstore) combined. Have you and Steve considered making it an extension?

I use both modules in production and you can always ask me for
advise. I use it in combination with hz-cluster.

I have been doing fixes and improvements over the past few years,
so has Steve Ikeoka for the jdbcconfig part who I think uses it in
    production as well with hazelcast.

    Kind Regards

Thanks Jody, that was not immediately clear.  I will follow your

And I'll ask about your parting question.

JDBCConfig is not intended to be used in isolation, please
use with JDBCStore (which saves configuration files, icons,
fonts, and so on into the database as blobs).

Please note that both these modules are unsupported and are
seeking interested parties to work on them. Is this something
your organization is in position to do?

            Hi all

            We are using the JDBCConfig

<https://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/user/community/jdbcconfig/index.html>
community module and everything is saved to the
configured database.  It works well when autoscaling
            multiple instances in AWS.

However, it appears as though the data/security/
directory is not part of the catalog that is saved to the
database.  When adding a new user, group or role, the XML
files in the local data/security directory are updated.

Is this intentional or a bug?  I don't see any user
configuration option to include/exclude parts of the
catalog.  Or does "catalog" exclude security?

Is there any way to use (or modify?) JDBCConfig to save
            users to the database?

            Thanks

            Peter
