GeoServer 2.15.4 is released, see announcement <http://blog.geoserver.org/2019/12/20/geoserver-2-15-4-released/>, download page <http://geoserver.org/release/2.15.4/> and changelog <https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=10000&version=16761> for details.
This is the last scheduled <https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/wiki/Release-Schedule> maintenance release for the 2.15.x series: - GeoServer 2.15.4 is a recommended upgrade for production systems using 2.15. - GeoServer 2.15 (or earlier) systems are advised to upgrade to the 2.16 series at this time. This release was our first made with OpenJDK, and we will be using OpenJDK for future releases to reflect the project taking over as lead of the java ecosystem. We had previously noted a change to URL handling (for data located on windows network shares). This change is now present in both the latest Oracle JDK and Open JDK. I would like to thank Gabriel Roldan, Kevin Smith for joining me in making this release. -- Jody Garnett GeoServer Project Steering Committee
