Adding the follow snippets now GWC is able to recognize my custom
dimensions:

<key>dim_crop</key>
<defaultValue>ACOF</defaultValue>
<normalize>
<locale></locale>
</normalize>
<regex>^|([A-Za-z]{1})$</regex>
</regexParameterFilter>
<regexParameterFilter>
<key>dim_technology</key>
<defaultValue>A</defaultValue>
<normalize>
<locale></locale>
</normalize>
<regex>^|([A-Za-z]{1})$</regex>
</regexParameterFilter>
