In my Company we use `gsconfig` to manage with Python the creation of stores and raster layers. Often we need to send a lot of PUT requests simultaneously and this makes the server very slow. For example during a massive PUT request a call to a WMS returns a response in a lot of seconds, sometimes one or two minutes.
