I have sent a similar message to the QGIS user list with no response. I am hoping someone here can help me. I have set up several queryable WMS on Geoserver, styled with SLD files designed in QGIS. The problem I have is that the text in the WMS legend that is displayed in the QGIS Layers panel and in print layouts is noticeably lower resolution than fonts for non-WMS layers. I am able to get better resolution by formulating a request for the legend specifying the resolution in a URL. I am not able to figure out how I can do that in QGIS. Is there something I am missing on the Geoserver end? I have tried adjusting the WMS getLegendGraphic Resolution setting in the Options | Canvas & Legend dialog, but it has no effect. Any suggestions are appreciated? -Thayer Young
