I’m new to GeoServer and have recently been using it to create a Basic Service level WFS to a specific target schema. Using simple features with views in PostGIS I have successfully matched the target schema. Thanks to the excellent docs/tutorials/books I’ve progressed onto complex features using the Application Schema extension and have successfully created a WFS from the original source PostGIS tables mapped to the target schema. Next - can the sourceDataStores be anything other than a database connection (also seen Shapefile) and in my use case another WFS? e.g. is it possible to cascade a WFS with Application Schema mapping In answer to the obvious question, (why) it would be to repurpose several Open Data providers WFS (out of my control) to a specific target model. I don’t find anything online and the resources always seem to specify various database connections only. I assume the answer is not possible, but looking for confirmation as such. (GeoServer 2.17.1 AdoptOpenJDK 11.0.7 Windows Server 2012) Thanks, Mark
