Hello Andrea, Thanks for your reply, so our problem might have to do with (some) configuration files that aren't maintained.
In fact we already have installed the CSW ISO community module from the nightly builds as explained here: https://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/community/csw-iso/installing.html When the installation of this module was completed we had two files in the directory ../geoserver_data/csw: 'FC_FeatureCatalogue.properties' and 'MD_Metadata.properties'. However, after that we've also installed the Metadata community module from the nightly builds as explained here: https://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/community/metadata/index.html#community-metadata And when the installation of this module was completed we have placed into the directories ../geoserver_data/csw and ../geoserver_data/metadata the configuration files for INSPIRE metadata that are provided here: https://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/tutorials/metadata/index.html Doing that, the former files 'FC_FeatureCatalogue.properties' and 'MD_Metadata.properties' were replaced by the ones provided for the INSPIRE metadata configuration. Maybe the error messages in our CSW-service have to do with the INSPIRE configuration files, I'll take a look at this later this week and compare them with the ISO configuration files.
