Hi Levy, Yes, this was on the list :-)
I'm not familiar with your error message, and your message does not reveal much information. But in general: KML is a lousy standard in my opinion: partly standardized, but after that greatly misused to put anything people want into it. My guess is that your kml is not 'standard' enough to be read by Geoserver. Did you try to read the kml in other tools (then Google stuff)? Else I would try to use some more traditional datasources? What exactly do you want to 'import' in 'what'? What type (raster or vector)? General usecase of geoserver: - create a datasource from an excisting file(set) or db - create layers from that datasource - server them as images or data Regards, Richard Duivenvoorde On 12/3/21 23:35, Levy Steve wrote:
Are you all getting my email? Does anyone have any input as to the concern I have raised? AWs I understand it one format that is acceptable is kml. I am trying to import a kml file with the importer as shown below: input_geoserver.JPG Note for Store it says 'Create new' which cannot be changed. Then I execute by clicking on Next and get: error_geoserver.JPG What is the error message suggesting that needs to be setup.
