Hello,

I have an html file where I made a request of a wms/image from my geoserver
instance using the image tag. When I open the html file in Chrome browser,
on the web page, a broken image icon is shown where the expected wms/image
is expected.

When I paste only the src link of the image tab in the html file in the
address bar of the Chrome browser I get the expected wms/image from the
geoserver properly displayed.

I have tried requesting the same wms/image from my geoserver instance on my
localhost and also my geoserver instance on the cloud hosted by AcuGIS.

My geoserver instance version 2.17.0 runs on Windows 10.

The error on inspection in the Chrome browser is a SameSite issue.

I have done a number of research on Google, Stackoverflow, and SourceForge
using *SameSite *as a keyword but no progress yet. In some cases existing
solutions do not apply to my issues and in other instances I am told to
make some *cookie* changes but I do not know which particular file of my
geoserver instance the changes need to be effected.

Link to my question on Stackoverflow (additional details):

Suggestions are highly appreciated.

Thank you and best Regards,

Adebola
