Hi Nikolaus, the attribute customization can be performed once by GUI, check the representation you get from the REST API, and then you can replicate. However mind, that tool controls the attribute available for the layer in all requests and services, not just GetFeatureInfo. If you want to hide an attribute in feature info, but use it in GetMap, that's not the tool you need to use. You'll need to use something like GeoFence instead.
