Thanks a lot. It is MUCH better to understand at the first look now.
Yep - I only see a couple mistakes now:
- FeatureType.getDefaultGeometry(): should return a GeometryAttribute
- GeometryAttribute.get(): should return Object (so we can have JTS or
GeoAPI)
- FeatureCollectionType should have getMemberSchema() - rather then
getMemberType to allow for a choice of member features
And I see a couple of temptations - just based on working with the
community:
I am tempted to do a rename Schema ---> Descriptor to help those
confused with XMLSchema.
Based on conversaton with Paolo it would be tempting to allow him to
hook metadata to these Descriptors (so he can record primary key,
assoications etc...) without breaking the reusability of the Type system.
