Hey all,
I just completed a collection of use case diagrams and narrative concerning
the interaction of Coverage Plugins with the GeoTools Framework. It's
complete enough to circulate for review and comment. If interested,
download it from the wiki page
http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOTOOLS/Multidimensional+Georegistered+Grid
It's the first link. Can't miss it.
Cool - printing now Bryce.
Thanks for the excellent visibility you are giving the coverage branch.
I have not done nearly so well for
my random access work (since it has mostly been days spent in anguish
over a couple of methods). I have
everything consistent now (and the web page has been updated).
FeatureList is working as advertised, however
the result is really more similar to a sorted set with lookup by
FeatureID then a list (since FeatureList allows
random access but does not allow reordering). See early comment about
anguish over a couple of methods.
To comment, edit the document (preferably with change tracking on), save
changes, and send back to me. I'll incorporate comments in future
versions. If the comment requires discussion, use the email list instead.
Be warned though: I can't read half of the stuff coming across the list due
to "Corrupt Content Alerts", so I may not be able to participate in email
discussions. :)
Paul Ramsey got a kick out of me having to install open office,
reviewing now.
A problem has been identified with the communication of the "origin" of a
TemporalDatum, and three options have been proposed.
Cool - will report back soon. I think I may tag in some temporal types I
know...
