I have set up geoserver-1.3.0-PR1
to serve up some of our New Zealand topo data via GeoServer WFS. This
data is currently stored as EPSG:27200 (NZGD49) points. When I go to
create a new feature type I find that EPSG:27200 is not a supported CRS

Map Grid (see http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-713). This has since
been added to GeoTools and I've been using it happily in uDig
(development version of 1.1).
Does anyone know when I am likely to see this in GeoServer? Was it
included in geotools 2.1.1, or is it only in 2.2?
The NewZealandMapGrid projection is available in Geotools 2.2 and above.
It is not part of Geotools 2.1 (in my understanding, Geotools 2.1 is
supposed to be a "bug fix" only branch). I believe that Geoserver use
Geotools 2.1. So I guess that the question is about the Geoserver road
map toward using Geotools 2.2.
