Just that the ibiblio servers seems to be sometime overloaded. If you
see "failed to download foo", restart "mvn install" again and again
until all download succeed. Those downloads need to be done only once,
like Maven 1.
You also need JAI and JAI Image I/O to be installed. The Maven 2 build
doesn't try to download those dependencies. Last time we tried (both on
Maven 1 and 2), it seems to be that it raised some difficulties. All
other dependencies should be downloaded automatically like Maven 1; JAI
& Image I/O are the only one which are expected to be pre-installed.
Note that the Image I/O dependencies may disaspear in a future version,
since Sun is considering to bundle it (or at least the part that we use)
straigt into a future JAI version. So we may have only a JAI dependency
left with the next version of JAI.
Please let me know any issue you may encounter, and I will fix the
pom.xml and/or update the guide accordingly.
