I have understand the MIFDataStore intend for reading data from one layer (table) saved
in mapinfo style file. The
subject I want to discuss is *.mdf files, those files are used in Mapinfo java
framework to config some
snapshot view (oops version control term) of the map, like bunch of layers, is
they disabled or enabled, some
point configuration, maybe annotation symbols etc… I
suppose that ESRI have something similar, the question is: if we think to
implement our own map snapshot view configuration, Or
maybe it can be good idea to implement *.mdf processor and state holder. |
