Where to start:
Goal: update plugin/geometryless to work with new FM branch to
participate in testing functionality. Need to use geomteryless for a
range of key deployment targets, also I'm supposed to maintaining the
module.
I have updated the unit tests so they dont rely on loading an external
database schema, and edited the code so it builds in the new branch. All
builds and tests successfully.
(so well and good)
When I try to commit changes I get:

The version resource does not correspond to the resource within the
transaction.
Either the requested version resource is out of date (needs to be
updated), or
the requested version resource is newer than the transaction root
(restart the
commit).
I suspect this means that someone has done something to the repository
since I checked out complex-features branch. Googling this simply
suggested a world of pain... other people get it and no-one knows how to
fix it.
Any clues?
I can tar up the src and send it to someone who can successfully
commit.... and then try starting again.
I'll send the errors I get when running this stuff to geoserver-devel...
