Martin is there any chance we can take the good part of JScience3 and
just skip out on their implementation of ordinates?
We will upgrate the javax.units package to an implementation which will probably be close to
identical (from an API point of view) to JScience. But I would like that JSR-275 finish its work first.
For the other parts (quantities, etc.), it should at users choice. Once we switched the javax.units
package, it will be compatible with JScience. I don't think that we need to use it in Geotools, but
we should make sure to keep Geotools compatible with JScience.
Martin.
